Toddler Group
Little Lambs Toddler Group now runs four times a week. There are two sessions on Tuesday mornings, an early and a late one, and the same on Friday mornings. Session 1 runs from 9.15am to 10.30am. Session 2 runs from 10.45am to 12noon. At each session, you'll find a friendly group of about 25 mums/carers and the children's ages range from newborn to 4 years.
Three of the sessions now have a waiting list, but please enquire about spaces as vacancies do occur regularly throughout the year, as children move up to preschool or to other activities. You'll need to choose which session you'd like to attend/have your name on the waiting list for.
There are lots of activities for all ages, for example: a carpeted area in the corner for the very little ones; jigsaw puzzles, bricks, Fisher Price Little People playsets, a Happyland town and multistorey garage with cars for those in the middle, and ride-ons, paper and crayons, train sets, tea sets, plastic model animals and dressing-up clothes for the older ones. There are also larger toys - such as the playhouse, a toy kitchen, a rocker, trampoline and a slide.
We offer a hot drink to the mums at the start, and a chance to chat. Halfway through the morning, we bring the children together for a story, some nursery rhymes, followed by juice and biscuits. The cost is £1 if you're bringing one child; £1.50 if you're bringing more than one with you. Come along and join us – we'd love to meet you!
