Sunday Morning Service (10:30 am)
On a typical Sunday morning service you can expect to meet around 50 people spanning the whole age range. These services are structured and 'led from the front', yet friendly and informal. Children stay in for the first 20 minutes or so, after which they go out to a group that's appropriate for their age.
Some of us like to look smart for the occasion, but most dress casually.
Our worship is led by a worship leader and a small band, and we mostly sing modern songs but we also like the traditional hymns.
Our pastor, Robin, normally brings us the sermon, but the first part of the service (mainly singing) is led by somebody else each week.
Communion (bread and wine) forms part of the Sunday morning service once a month.
The purpose of our Sunday mornings are many:
- To be together as a church
- To worship God
- To learn more about God, the Bible and the Christian life
- To encourage and look out for each other
- To have a good time!
We also hold an evening service on alternate weeks.
