Thursday Morning Home Group
The Group meets at a member's home at 9.30am each Thursday throughout the year, with a short break for Christmas and Easter. Three of the members take turns to lead the Bible study with the aid of various study guides.
The group decides what they would like to study next when the current course ends. It is a small group attended by both men and women and is open to new Christians and those who do not regularly attend any church.
There are social events during the year such as a lunch at Christmas (and sometimes Easter) and a summer barbecue, and it has been known to celebrate a member's birthday (when it's a special one) with a lunch outing. The group aims to help all its members to understand the Bible better and to be a place where difficult questions can be aired and discussed without fear or embarrassment. We encourage those who come to offer mutual support and where possible practical help to one another as necessary.
